Business model in a nutshell is like a marketplace for jobs, where employees seek and apply for new opportunities for free and employers post their jobs and advertise those jobs with a fee on our platforms. In 2022, Sieu Viet consolidated Viectotnhat.com, Mywork.com.vn, and Timviecnhanh.com into Vieclam24h.vn, making it the most powerful and united job platform of Sieu Viet.
Case Study: Merge Viectotnhat into Vieclam24h
As part of our efforts to streamline our operations and provide a more unified and cohesive platform for job seekers and recruiters alike, we have initiated a project to merge "viectotnhat" into "Vieclam24h". This project represents a key step in our ongoing efforts to provide the best service to our users and solidify our position as a leading player in the online recruitment industry in Vietnam.

After the merge project, we analyzed some numbers and found that this project has had an impact on the merged project.

Case Study: Revamp Search and Filter function of Vieclam24h website
Optimize search and filter function (Improve filter experience for job seekers on web and mobile versions). Our goal is to provide a user-friendly experience for job seekers searching for relevant job postings.
We have identified pain points related to the existing filter function, such as difficulty in finding relevant job openings, a lack of filtering options, and confusion with the search results.
- One major issue identified in our platform's current search function is its inability to consistently provide accurate and relevant search results. The search results do not completely match the keyword entered by users because Elastic search only returns results based on old logic. This can frustrate users seeking specific job openings and result in a poor user experience, which may cause users to disengage and potentially abandon their search altogether.
- To access the filter option, users must swipe. However, some users may not be aware of this feature. Furthermore, when a user clicks on one of the options, the expanding filter can be confusing. Users are also unable to search the long list when they click to select an option.
- We have identified with our platform was lack of visual clarity in the filter function on mobile devices. Specifically, there is no visual differentiation between the unselected and selected states.
This lack of clarity can cause confusion for job seekers who are trying to use the filter function to narrow down their search results. This can lead to frustration and potentially cause job seekers to abandon their search.

Filtering only allows users to choose one item of the filter option at a time. This can be restrictive for job seekers seeking job postings that meet several criteria. Furthermore, when job seekers wish to remove all filters, they must manually deselect each filter one by one, which is time-consuming and aggravating.
Solution
We have implemented an improved filter function that is more intuitive, user-friendly, and effective. The new system includes advanced filtering options that enable job seekers to easily narrow down their search results to the most relevant postings.
Additionally, the system prioritizes the most relevant postings based on the user's search terms, ensuring that job seekers see the most promising opportunities first.
